Meet Madi
Madi is originally from Keller, Texas, a city just north of Fort Worth. Growing up with an older brother as her role model, she played a wide range of sports before ultimately discovering her love for basketball. That love led her to the weight room—where she found something even deeper: a passion for strength training and fitness.

After high school, Madi moved to Nacogdoches, Texas to attend Stephen F. Austin State University. While in college, she took her interest in health and fitness to the next level, becoming a certified personal trainer in 2018. She graduated in 2020 with a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology and a minor in Food and Nutrition.
During this time, Madi discovered her first CrossFit gym and quickly fell in love with the philosophy that training should mimic real-life movement to build well-rounded, capable individuals. She went on to earn both her CrossFit Level 1 and Level 2 certifications.
About a year after graduating, Madi attended Angelina College in Lufkin, Texas, where she earned certifications in Firefighting and Emergency Medical Services. She soon moved to Houston, Texas, and in 2023 began her career as a firefighter with The Woodlands Fire Department.

Although she continued training and coaching clients throughout this time, Madi missed being fully immersed in the fitness world. In 2025, she made the decision to leave the fire department and pursue coaching full-time, stepping into a coaching and management role at her home gym.
In April 2026, Madi and her partner relocated to Denver, Colorado—a city they had dreamed of calling home. After a long road trip with their three dogs, they officially began their next chapter.
Madi is currently accepting new clients. You can schedule your consultation with her by emailing info@garage1880.com
