Meet Walter

Updated: Feb 11

Personal Trainer working on a farm

Walter was born and raised in Bakersfield, California. A smaller city known for its agriculture, oil, and country music roots. It is positioned with access to LA, the mountains and the beach all within two hours. Growing up, sports were a huge part of Walter’s life and that continues to this day. He played soccer and baseball growing up but transitioned to football and soccer when reaching high school, with soccer being his main sport. Throughout his athletic career Walter has suffered a variety of  injuries, which helped propel him to have a bigger interest in the prevention and care aspect of the fitness industry.

He would attend Ripon College in Ripon, Wisconsin to study exercise science with an emphasis on human performance. Walter also attained minors in coaching and strength and conditioning. As an athlete, Walter played football for the Ripon Red Hawks, where he was a part of the Mid West Conference championship team during the 22’-23’ season. Walter also participated in multiple intramural sports, such as, basketball, volleyball and indoor soccer. After graduating, Walter moved back home to California to pursue his personal training and coaching career. After one year in California, Walter moved to Arvada Colorado with a friend from college to complete a goal he set for himself during his freshman year, to move there and escape from Bakersfield.

Through all his experiences, Walter keeps his main priority on getting the best out of whoever he is coaching. He knows everyone's best is different, but that does not make it worth less. Walter has been blessed with good coaches and mentors in his life and without them would not be here today. This is the main reason that drives him to try and have the same positive impact on those he is able to coach. Helping people achieve their goals and discover how to get the best out of themselves each and everyday is something Walter strives to accomplish. Seeing happiness and growth in a client or player is the only reward Walter needs, and to him makes all the work worth it.
